[CANCELLED] Error 0xc000007b on 2 machines (Win10 64bit)

Hi all,

i was trying to update to a new CC version, but i am getting the (already well known) error code from Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

The strange thing about it is:

# all CC versions are running fine up to 2.10.X
# all later versions (2.11.alpha: 2.11.beta; 2.11.3; 2.12.alpha) failed to start after installation
# two different devices (a Notebook and a Workstation with quite different hardware) show the exact same behaviour (so nothing works later than 2.10.2)
# also showing this error code when Win10 is started in Debug-Mode

All installations were done after a proper deinstallation of the older version, deleting folders and cleaning the registry with ccleaner to prepare the new installation.
I am wondering if it might be a third party software (which i maybe use on both devices) which is interfering with the newer installations.

Is anyone experiencing the same issue?

Thanks a lot.

Alex

What video card is your system running?
Are you installing the faro plugin?

Hello back,

thanks for your reply.

The video card(s) are rather old => desktop uses GTX 1050 Ti and notebook uses GTX 1070.

The Faro Plugin is not (never) installed.

Thanks and i am looking forward for replies.

So I would try the methods listed here: https://ugetfix.com/ask/how-to-fix-erro ... indows-10/
at least the ones that don't require purchasing some software :P

Thanks again my friend... I will close this request here. It's helpless.
Those procedures you mentioned were all already tried before I bothered this forum.

The error is too unspecific. Some conflict seems to exist with other software (which I use on both machines). It could be any of them and i will only find out by starting with installing CC on a fresh device and adding my standard software then step by step while checking the start of CC parallel.

As long as i do not find out about what was changed from version 2.10.x to 2.11.x I can only proceed the way i just described....

We'll see.

Thanks again

Alex
