Primitives not showing if in a group within a group

I'm trying to structure a great many primitives I create by grouping them - then grouping certain groups

I'm finding if I do this they become invisible

Is this a bug (2.12 (alpha)) or a limitation?

Is there any way round it?

Thanks...

Re: Problems with a single click

Chris/WargodHernandez,

Your post of 6 Feb suggested "We just need to add a toggle, I'll try to get it added this weekend"

Any luck with this?

Sorry to bug you but it is a real pain with really large point clouds.

Thanks...

Bug in 2.12 alpha?

In 2.12 (alpha): 1. Load point cloud created in 2.11.3 2. Load viewports created in 2.11.3 3. Select viewports and prepare to create a movie. 4. Select a viewport in "Animation steps" - point cloud is correctly repositioned. 5. Start movie creation by clicking "Render" and point ...

Re: Problems with a single click

Thanks for your prompt response.

None of that functionality is of interest to me (at the moment :)) so an on/off toggle would be good.

Re: Problems with a single click

Disabling it sounds good - what is it actually useful for (forgive me if this is a stupid question)?

Problems with a single click

I have some pretty large jobs involving 50 to 100 scans of 60 million coloured points each, for a total of 3 to 6 billion points per job. I've found a technique to winnow this data down to something of the order 1.5 billion points - so it will all fit in my GPU "dedicated memory" and thus ...

Re: Out of memory while doing merge

Given my specific job requirements a version that handles more than 2 billion points would get my vote - 6 billion?

Re: Puzzled by GPU behaviour

I have a fair idea of the problem - at one stage of my life I was part of a team of 10 software architects trying to manage the output of approx 400 programmers. One of the problems was the programmers were too close to the code - and were always doing this sort of thing. That's not a criticism, jus...
