Just tried the new beta.
Everything works perfect on my end.
Thanks for the quick resolution!

Re: Compute 2.5D Volume Report Questions
Thank you very much for taking the time to draw those out and craft an example!
That clears up a great deal for me.

Re: Compute 2.5D Volume Report Questions
I see. In that case if I calculate the volume of the before cloud and a constant height, and then the volume of the after cloud and the same constant height, shouldn't the difference between those two volumes be the same as if I calculated the total volume (i.e. the sum of 'dirt' and 'air') of the b...

Re: Compute 2.5D Volume Report Questions
Aha!
Thank you for answering simple questions.
So I'm safe in understanding that Added volume would be the Embankments and Removed volume would be the Excavations then.

Re: Compute 2.5D Volume Report Questions
Unfortunately that is precisely what I am after.
How would I then compute them by hand?
Are there tools I could use in CC to compute just the 'air' and 'dirt' separately?
Thank you for your patience!

Re: Compute 2.5D Volume Report Questions
Thank you for the quick reply!
That is a fact, but my question then becomes:
If I have two perfectly flat terrains, which cross at a given angle, then the value of Volume added would be the same as the value of Volume removed.
In that case would the Volume be 0?

Compute 2.5D Volume Report Questions
Hey! I'm sorry if I'm asking a dumb question and misunderstanding something fundamental, but I cannot understand some of the values from the volume computation tool. I am currently trying to estimate earthworks volume between two sequential aerial scans. I've been looking at the volume computation a...

Re: Unable to open RASTER grid .asc file with unicode characters in file path
Thank you!
I will be sure to keep an eye on the thread.
Just wanted to mention OSGeo4W is using GDAL 3.3.3, so maybe the issue was fixed upstream?

Unable to open RASTER grid .asc file with unicode characters in file path
Hey! I am assuming this is both a known and low priority issue, so I thought I shouldn't open a specific issue on the GitHub tracker, but just in case I thought I should mention it. I am using CC 2.12beta on Windows 10 21H2 with NTFS partitions. When trying to open an ASCII Grid .asc file, using the...

Re: Rasterize with flipped projectoin axis
Sorry for the late reply, I was out of the office for a while.
Thanks for the answer!
I managed to work it out with the cell projection settings.
If I have some spare time I could try to implement that as maybe a checkbox to toggle the inverse axis?
I cannot guarantee that though.
Thanks again!
