Hi Daniel, I would like to merge some obj mesh with jpg texture. This is a 3D model composed of four parts. Each part has obj, jpg, and mtl. I could merge four mesh perfectly in CloudCompare. However, when I open the merged mesh, the texture does not show well. Could you please check a sample data w...

Hello, Could you tell me how to save point cloud data as obj format? According to CloudCompare User Manual for version 2.1, it looks you can export as obj. I am using CloudCompare v2.5.4.1 I can import obj, but cannot export as obj. It seems there is not obj in the dropdown list to save the file. If...

Re: how to fix point cloud
Thank you daniel. The segment tool worked fine. I am fixing ply format files. When I save the fixed data, could I save it as one ply file? As well I would like to save aligned (connected) data as one file. So far I save it as CloudCompare binary, “.bin” format. When I open the bin file, several segm...

how to fix point cloud
I would like to adjust distorted part of point cloud.
I took 3D laser scan of a straight corridor, but the point cloud data is bent.
Could I cut a segment and move it to the right place, just like cut and paste?
Any other way to fix is also welcome. Thank you.
