"default point size" not working (OSX version, and Windows version when running on Mac via Parallels)
Installed latest CC Mac version (2.6.1) on OS 10.10.5: When I press the plus or minus button when changing the default point size, i get the spinning beachball while the program freezes for a few seconds. If I hover over the plus sign, I actually start to zoom in. Installed latest CC for Windows (2....

point rotation center is not accurate
When zoomed in on a point cloud, the point picker tool becomes inaccurate. Its often picks a point that is off by at least 100 or more meters from where I actually clicked. I just downloaded the latest CC version for Mac (10.10.5).

Re: Issue with zoom sensitivity in perspective mode
Your new zoom speed in perspective mode option works great! Many thanks - I'm now able to explore my point cloud with much great ease.

Re: dxf import issue - how to utilize projection information?
Hi Daniel,
Your blind guess was right - the import works like a charm! Thanks a lot(I guess you probably don't need any sample data now, but if you'd still like one I can send it your way)

Re: Issue with zoom sensitivity in perspective mode
Hi Daniel, Thanks for the reply. Given that you move the camera based on a percentage of total bounding box, it makes sense that I am experiencing zoom sensitivity; I have a very large bounding box. I suppose a workaround for me would be to prepare sub-sample data sets that don't have such a large e...

Issue with zoom sensitivity in perspective mode
I've noticed that when I import a georeferenced point cloud (with shifted coordinates), I have trouble navigating very close to ground level in perspective mode. Basically, if I'm near the ground, if I try to zoom in just a bit (one little turn of the scroll wheel on the mouse), this corresponds to ...

dxf import issue - how to utilize projection information?
I have a 3D dxf file (lines) that I would like to import and see in perspective view (not orthographic) alongside a point cloud file that is in the same area. When I import my .las point cloud file, I am asked if I would like to shift the coordinate system - if I say yes, everything works great (I c...

How to hide points with a given classification?
I saw the post here: http://www.danielgm.net/cc/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=190 , which clarifies how to visualize a point cloud using classification. I am further wondering how I can do this, and then hide points with a given classification? I tried to give transparent colors to the classes I wan...

Re: How to change point cloud rotation origin (on the fly)?
Hi Daniel, Thanks for all this information. I had been trying the "pick" tool before, but apparently did not give CloudCompare enough time to process:I was tesing this using fairly large point cloud file (350 Megabytes). It takes CloudCompare about 15 to 20 seconds to "re-center"...
