Do you have to use M3C2 to get an estimation of distance between points or is there a simpler way to achieve this? I want to know how many points the scanner was able to get on my target at different distances. In order to compare those values, I would need average distance between points. Thank you...

If I want to get average distance between points what tool would I use?

For example: I was planning to cut out a portion of my image and I want know exactly how many points are in that cut image and the average distance between the x,y,z points. How would I find this information?
