When I try to Download the 2.9.1 release it downloads the 2.10 release, and the worst part is I can't even find out how to launch that version. cloudcompare.CloudCompare doesn't work, neither does going into the files and running it from the snap folder. Same here, ubuntu 14.04, running cloudcompare.Cloudcompare gives "command not found"

Also attempting to download the stable build with snap makes it download 2.10-beta

Is there any progress towards an update or fix for this problem? I'm on High Sierra, I tried replacing the framework files with the ones in the OP but all that did was completely remove the qAnimation plugin button from the CloudCompare window.

Hey, I'm having the same problem on my Macbook Pro 2012 (Retina). High Sierra Version 10.13.4. Immediately crashes when I click render. Changing file formats does not help. Changing from Super Resolution to Zoom and vice versa did not help. Changing to an older version of cloudCompare did not help. ...
