mean dip dir and angle values in facet plugin

Hi everyone,

I have a basic question. How are the mean values for dip direction and angle are calculated in the facet plugin? I exported facets (SHP) and calculated the mean values for both parameters and get different values (my calculated mean dip direction differs by 60 degrees from the mean value estimated in the plugin).

It's a weighted average based on the facet surface (otherwise very small facets would have too much weight).
