Portion Ciel Visible PCV

Post by fg.macaca »

Hi,

I try to used the PCV plugin on a 3D polygonal surface, I computed the PCV and I find the way to export the Illuminance distribution, but I would like to be able to export the Illuminance values for each polygon consituting of the 3D surface, or at least the complete set of illuminance values so that I'll be able to run various statistics on this set. Is it possible ?
Thanks a lot,
F

Illuminance is computed per vertex (and not per triangle). You can export the whole set of values by selecting the 'vertices' cloud below the mesh entry in the DB tree. Then save this cloud as an ASCII (text) file. You'll get on each line the point coordinates along with their associated colors, normals and scalar fields (among which you should have the Illuminance value). You can ask CC to export the column titles to help you find the right values.
