Planes on cloudcompare

Post by briklot »

Hi everyone! I am currently using cloud compare for a geology project. This project involves planes and planes’ orientation. Thought, I have noticed that some planes are green whilst some other are light blue.. is there a substantial difference?

Actually, all planes have two different colors for each side. The green side is the side looked from 'above' (regarding the normal orientation) and the light blue is the side looked from 'below'. You can display the plane 'normal' (checkbox in the plane entity properties) to make things clearer.
