So I am able to see that the issue happens when the I use the POINTSWITHINDEX definition for the RANSAC_SD library. Either way (the original method creating new points, or the new method cloning points) I get approx the same point set returned.
if you hide the planes themselves, the clouds that were associated appear equivalent the dip/dir (orientation) of the planes are similar also. But the size and location of the plane is not
I'll keep digging into the RANSAC library, I'll try to find the issue and fix that, because the point cloud clone is a desirable feature if we can keep it.

Hi,
I installed the new release of CC and tested it on cloud with the same RANSAC parameters described previously. It now seems to work perfectly again. Super many thanks to you WargodHernandez for fixing this!
Regards, Gustav
