Rasterize without resolution loss

Post by PablerasBCN »

Hello,

When I rasterize I've to eyeball the step so I don´t loss resolution.

When you import back since you've the option to import as point cloud you can then see if you sub or oversampled.

Is there any way to set an step so that 1:1 matches (or very very close) to the source cloud resolution?

Do you mean when you try to rasterize a cloud which is already regularly sampled?

No :D, But reading your answer realized if not regularly placed points it may not be possible to 1:1 :D.

But at least could you please add info of the number of points of the current raster instead of displaying in the top, the point number of the original cloud?. or display both info.

Cheers.

Do you mean the number of non-empty cells?

Anyway, I added the total number of cells (next to the grid size) and the number of non-empty cells (next to the cloud name and size)
