Imported step

Hello,

I want to compare a stepfile and a pointcloud with each other.

But when I open the stepfile it does'nt show as I want to, only points at the radius and the edge.

I can compare them but I also want to show a profile line in a section view, but the step model doesnt show a proper "line".

So is it possible to show points of the whole model?

See attatched pictures of a similar example as i want to compare.

Hum, that's weird, it's as if OpenCascade was failing to convert the STEP file to a proper mesh.

Can you maybe share the file with me? (admin [at] cloudcompare.org)
