Global Shift Question

Hi Daniel,

I do not understand the export procedure with changed coordinates.

I do have a LAZ file with geo coordinates. I have transformed the point cloud by using the transformation matrix 4x4. Now I want to save the point cloud, but a re-import shows me, that the coordinate did not get changed. What do I need to do?

Edit -> Global shift ?

They haven't changed at all? Not even a little bit? What was the transformation you applied?

(and you would only use 'Edit > Edit Global Shift' if you wanted to remove the Global Shift completely - i.e. output the cloud in its local coordinate system)
