Measuring sag of the powerline

Post by celamk »

Hi!

Quick question regarding endless CC capabilities :)
Is there any algorithm/workflow that would allow me to detect the lowest part of the sagging powerline? Sure, I can calculate distance to dround but this parameter is not always correlated (terrain geometry varies under the line) so I'd need to rely on using traced polyline following the powerline curvature or raw, filtered point cloud representing consisted of points assigned to powerline only...

Sorry for the late reply.

Sadly, I don't see any tool or trick that would help you...
