Crash on Display>Render to File

Post by Steve L~ »

I get a crash each time I select Display>Render to File but only when the Console is NOT displayed.

I can't reproduce the issue on my side.

What version are you using? (I'm using 2.6.3.beta). And what are the rendering parameters?

Daniel,
A bit more on this as I've managed to re-produce it.

Im using v 2.6.3

Turning the console OFF and then rendering to file, the console re-appears with the message that the render has completed. That's OK

With EDL enabled and the console ON, the console re-appears with the message that the render has completed. That's OK

With EDL enabled and the console OFF, the console partially re-appears - half is 'under' the Properties pane) then it crashes.

Thanks for the feedback.

I still can't reproduce this issue on my side (even with your accurate directions), but:
- we have changed a lot of things in the 2.7 version (new version of Qt, etc.)
- the Console doesn't pop-up anymore when rendering the screen ;)

I'll let you test the new version (as soon as it's out) and confirm if it's better or not.
