Animation error: wrong image size

Post by rmark »

After rendering about half the frames, I get the error: Failed to encode frame # 41: Wrong image size
There were no errors in during the Preview.

During the preview no data is sent to the codec. The error is sent by the codec when we try to create the animation file.

What is your output file format (extension)? Can you try with another one?

It defaults to mp4. I don't see how to change this.
But this time, after restarting CC, the error did not recur!

Error recurred with a new model. Failed with 3 viewpoints; worked when middle viewpoint removed.

Strange. It look more or less random. Or it's a matter of length?

To change the animation format, simply change the output file extension (e.g. to mpg). The system will take the right codec automatically

What is your OS by the way?

Just dont do anything else with computer and animation will be successfuly done! Push render button and wait. When I did it in this way I had none of failed animation.
