Computes the radical distances between a cloud and a Surface of Revolution

Post by pschwarz »

Hello everyone,
I have some questions. What is the tool "Computes the radical distances between a cloud and a surface of revolution" about. I couldn´t find any answer in the manual. I am working at a project and want to know the distance between a polyline (file fomat DXF or SHP) and a point cloud (file format BIN). I created both with Agisoft. Is this the right tool for my problem? Right now the error says, that there is an "invalid Polyline (bad or missing meta data)".
It would be great, if anyone could help me with my problem. Thank you

Pay attention that this is the 'radial' distance to a surface or revolution (defined by a polyline profile).

This distance can be computed with the qSRA plugin:

The profile is defined thanks to a custom text file. Anyway I'm not sure this is what you are looking for. ..
