Cross Section MacOS

Hi,
I am trying to get a polyline from a point cloud without success using the cross section tool
I have defined the limits of the section following the instruction. I can see the polyline in the model and in the visual debug mode, but after save it in .dxf format I only get a horizontal line when I open it in vectorial software.
I am using 2.8.1 on MacOS 10.12.3.
What am I doing badly?

Some software don't handle 3D polylines from DXF files. Maybe this is the case here?

If your vector application is 2D only, you may need to rotate the point cloud and plane of the cross section. The plane of the cross section may not match the screen plane in a 2D application

Can you post the DXF file?
