Need explanation on a few functions.

Hi there,

I am currently converting a point clouds to 3D surfaces using the below functions and I am trying to conceptually understand what each step particularly does. I'm a junior studying Mechanical Engineer so I feel that I should be able to understand most of what is happening though I am no expert!

Noise Filter
SOR Filter
Normals---> Compute
Poisson Surface Reconstruction

Have you looked at the wiki for all this methods? (http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... =Main_Page). If yes can you be more specific?
