Extract Sections - multi-pass. What does it do?

Hello,

I've been playing with the extract sections tool to pull real world transects from a georeferenced point cloud. Could you perhaps tell me what the 'multi-pass' option does please? And perhaps could this be added to - http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... t_Sections

If I remember well, it's an attempt to subdivide again the big segments, in case the first pass has missed some complicated 'circonvolutions' in the contour. However it may not be always successful, and in some cases it can even create artifacts.
