At flume scale, how to remove vegetation (alfalfa)?

how can I remove vegetation from point clouds measured in a flume experiment with small alfalfa plants?

Is it a 3D point cloud? (i.e. you have points below the vegetation) or a 2.5D?

In the first case, you could try the Canupo plugin (https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... O_(plugin)).

Otherwise, it may work with CSF (https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... F_(plugin))
