Hello,
Thank you very much for your fantastic product.
I have a question about the "cross-section" function:
Is it possible to calculate the projection of the selected points by "cross-section" on the defined plane?
Do you have a tipp to efficiently produce this operation?

You mean expressing the points coordinates inside a local coordinate system attached to the active box?
It would be possible (with a few manual steps) if we output the cross section box position/orientation matrix in the console or we copy it in the clipboard when you click on a button for instance, then you'll be able to apply its inverse to the cloud (or the slice) with the 'Edit > Apply transformation' tool. This will actually project the cloud (or slice).
Would that work?

Do you mean it "would" work, or do you mean you actually found a way to grab the matrix that I would have forgot about? :D

Ok, just in case, I added two buttons to the 'advanced' cross section edition dialog.
Once you have defined your section, click on the "advanced" button, and then on the "To clipboard" button (below the box axes definition).
Don't forget to extract the points inside the section as a new cloud.
Close the Cross Section tool, select the extracted cloud, and then use the 'Edit > Apply transformation' tool. Paste the matrix (there's a button). And don't forget to 'invert' the matrix (see the checkbox at the bottom).
