Mesh-to-Mesh distance

Post by shan »

Dear All,

I am superimposing two STL files and I would like to get the distances between these two meshes.

When I used the point picking tool, I managed to get the exact "C2M signed distances" at most of the points I want.

But on certain point, the distance is not showing up, it shows information like "Point@Tri#25792".

May I know what should I do to get measurements show up on these points please?

Thank you very much.

It's probably because you pick the label on the wrong mesh. You should hide the 'reference' mesh (the one without distances) while picking the labels.
