We are seeking assistance in selecting a suitable graphics card for a HPE server to run CloudCompare. Unfortunately, we had a negative experience with the Tesla T4, as the application failed to launch.
Considering your expertise, could you recommend a specific type of graphics card that would be compatible and perform well?
HPE has suggested the A40, but they are uncertain about its compatibility and functionality with CloudCompare.

If it's on a server, is it still aimed to display and intact with 3D entities? Or just to use the command line tool.
Anyway, if it's really to display clouds, my only experience is with NVidia RTX cards (30XX or 40XX) or also Radeon Pro WX8200 (but I always preferred NVidia cards for multiple reasons).
Maybe someone else has other experiences / hints.
