First, I would like to bring your attention to the photo attached to this email. Please take a look and let me know if
Can do the same point measuring in 2 mesh comparison.
The process am gonna do is
First , I will transform the DICOM files of the teeth into STL format. This conversion would allow us to visualize the teeth in a 3D format, which could be useful for further analysis and comparison.

In addition, 3- I propose that we add the specific points shown in the attached picture to the segmentation of the 3D teeth model. Is it possible to add them with the segmentation feature in codiagnostic ? This would enable these points to be visible in the STL file when opened in could compare or any other software. It would also allow us to accurately measure the distances between the meshes.

The idea is we want to messire the exact point we measured in micro ct

Finally can we measure the same point in the picture of micro ct in the mesh comparison in could compareImage[/img]

Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.

This post reminds me of another one (that I can't find right now).

What is the "segmentation feature in codiagnostic"?

Segmentation in co diagnostic. Seperate the tooth from the jaw in dicom file. Then we can export the teeth as an stl

But is there away to measure the distance between 2 meshes at certain points i chose by point piking tool ?

Well, you first have to compute all the distances (but that's pretty fast), and then you can pick any point (or anywhere on a triangle) to read its distance.

Yes, exactly.
