Graphics Card- AMD Radeon

Post by bridgetkeble »

I have a 5gb point cloud (.las) that will not fully render. I need to create a mesh out of this but since the data won't render it looks bad. Is there anything special to ensure that Cloud Compare is using the graphics card? The graphics card is AMD Radeon Instinct MI26 Accelerator.

Hum, that's weird, but ATI cards have a long history of not always supporting OpenGL properly...

Can you try to deactivate the 'Try to load clouds on GPU for faster display' option in the 'Display > Display settings' dialog? ('Other options' tab).
