This tool is accessible via the 'Edit > Colors > Enhance with intensities' menu entry.
Description
Enhances the RGB colors dynamics with the associated 'intensities' scalar field (RGB-IHS method).
Select one or several point clouds (with both RGB information and intensities stored in a scalar field) and then call this method.
- CC will first ask you to precise which scalar field contains intensities if multiple scalar fields are present
- Then CC will ask you whether the current min and max boundaries of the scalar field should be used, or if you want to set the theoretical boundaries yourself (this is important to avoid saturation in case the current range is far from the theoretical one)
- Eventually CC will apply the enhancement algorithm (basically, the dynamics of the 'intensities' is used to update the one of the RGB colors)
